About me
I’m a Portuguese UX/UI Designer with a bachelor in Design & Multimedia, complemented with a bootcamp in UX/UI Design.
I’m creative and forever curious about learning new tools to express myself. I’ve always been drawn to arts and I worked for 8 years in the film industry.
Working both on stage and backstage, gave me experience in crafting visual and sensorial experiences, as well as understanding human behaviour. And if I were to compare acting or directing a film, to creating user experiences, I’d say that attention to detail is the key to turn a performance into an unforgettable experience - both in theather and UX|UI Design.
When I’m not working, you can find me watching a film, singing, trying to learn the piano, painting or writing.
I was born in Lisbon and my native language is Portuguese, but I also speak English and Spanish pretty well.
For me, “everything is a matter of perspective” ~ I believe that our thoughts shape our life.
In college I chose scientific studies and in University I studied Physical Engineering for one semester, until I realised that my creative brain demanded a creative career.
I’m passionate about self-development and I’m always looking for new ways of improving myself.
I love animals! I had cats all my life and now I have two dogs. I can’t decide if I’m a “cat person” or a “dog person” ~ but who needs labels?
